- I currently work in the Department of Information Science at Loughborough University. This Blog reflects my interest in how people interact with and use information to enable them to achieve their objectives. This interest has evolved over many years while studying different groups of people, understanding their information needs, with the aim of helping them to get the information they need as well as a better understanding of the processes and factors that are involved. This has led me into the area of information literacy which focuses on the knowledge, skills and attitudes associated with effective independent learning and knowledge creation.
